Product Review: 2 silicone popcorn maker
A favorite snack in my house is popcorn. My kids LOVE it and I’ll admit that it has
always been a guilty pleasure of mine.
One of my favorite things is homemade Carmel Corn. Check it out here for a recipe to make your
very own.
So when I got the opportunity to try out a new Silicone
Microwave Popcorn maker I jumped at the chance.
Not only because I love popcorn, but because this way I can make a
heathier version of my favorite snack.
Once I got this in the mail I was super excited. Checking it out, I noticed a few things right
off the bat. First, it was collapsible. LOVED this!!
Space savor!! Trust me when I
tell you my husband tells me all the time about how much stuff I have and this
takes up hardly any room at all!!
Awesome!! Next, it comes with a
small and simple recipe guide!! I have
totally become addicted to the Kettle Corn!!
Super easy clean up!! Wash with
warm soapy water and rise.
So I made some Kettle Corn for my kids one day after school
and they loved it. They told me that it
tasted just like Kettle Corn they get at the fair and that they didn’t even
miss all the extra butter and salt that some popcorn has. I did notice that it popped almost all of the
kernels as well. Cooking time was about
two minutes, but listen just in case.
The Silicone does get hot, so please be careful and make sure you use
the special handles on the side of the bowl when removing from the
microwave.
All in all, I would say that this is a really good
product. I have been using it now for a
few weeks, and I totally love it. It is
simple and easy, makes great popcorn and much cheaper than the store bought
microwave bags, heathier too!
I know that I will be using this product quite a bit come
the holidays to make not only Carmel corn, but maybe some Chocolate drizzle as
well.
